Meet a Cutie....Jonah

Sorry for slacking on the blogging but it's been a busy and rough week. Anyway I wanted to blog about this earlier but just haven't had the time. Meet Jonah! He's an adorable 3mos. I had the opportunity to photograph and I had a blast doing it! There are so many great moments, here are a few of my favorites. Rachel & Laron Continuation....

Ok, I'm back to continue with a few more images I wanted to share of this soon to wed couple. I'll be photographing their Wedding this November and I'm so excited and honor to have that privilege!!!

Oh, I mention previously we had to call in the Decatur Fire Dept. for some help :)

As you can see we got out of the storm in the nick of time. It was scary, exciting, and fun all at the same time!

I love these tender kissing moments, they just say so much with out having to really say anything at all...

Engagement Session with Rachel and Laron

Meet this Adorable couple Rachel and Laron. They were so much fun to photograph, Rachel is beautiful and has a head full of gorgeous natural wavy hair to go along with her beauty and Laron is tall, handsome and smooth, a man of few words....NOT! He's really a comedian in the making :) nooooo not really, but he could be. I shot their e-session aka an engagement session yesterday (Sunday), in the Trendy Downtown Decatur where it's greater....or at least that's what people say. Anyway I'm just posting these images for right now but I'll be back with more. Yesterday, was almost like being swept away, like "The Wizard of Oz". As many of you notice, the day started out nice depending on where you're at in Georgia, the weather person talked about Thunderstorms and possible Tornadoes, but to look at the sky you wouldn't think they knew what they were talking about...uh, well until evening came, the same time I was shooting their engagement session. It got so bad that we had to call in the City of Decatur Fire Dept.....stay tune for more photos and the story behind this Atlanta "E" session adventure. LOL!!

Meredith & Phillip

I was invited to shoot with Jessica of Sublime-Photography for Meredith and Phillip's wedding in Valdosta, GA. Talk about being in love... thats what I would have to say about this great looking couple. They were so great to photograph, Meredith is not only beautiful on the outside, but she's just as beautiful on the inside!! This was such a great laid back couple and I enjoyed every minute I had to photograph you. Thanks Jesscia for inviting me to shoot with you, it was a blast!!!

Aliesha & Nick

I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding last weekend in Charlotte, NC with the lovely Photographer, Natalie Storment. I've never been to Charlotte before and I wish I had more time to spend there and explore but unfortunately, no time for that. So back to the awesome couple Aliesha & Nick. They are so adorable. I enjoyed the honor of photographing their special day. Their ceremony was followed with the reception at Bentley's on 27. Here are just a few of my images.

Janna's Bridal Session

This is a posting I meant to blog about sooner than later, but I've been busy shooting out of town wedding (more on those later) but this is a bridal session that I shot with the lovely Shae Owens. These are some of favorites!

Dunaway Gardens

Well, the Sunday, right before the Memorial Day Holiday, I shot a wedding with the Talented Stacey Bode,. The wedding took place at the Beautiful Dunaway Gardens down in Newnan, GA. I tell you, I've never seen such a place so full of beautiful greenery, ponds, and flowers, on acres and acres of beautiful land. If you've never heard of it click here to check it out. Keep in mind it's been pretty HOT lately , here in the ATL, but this day I must admit was a perfect time for a wedding. Rhodes Hall Wedding

I shot this wedding with the awesome Liana Lehman last month and just getting a chance to blog about it. This cute couple, Devon and Jonathan currently live in Texas but have ties to Atlanta. Their reception was held at the Historical Rhodes Hall in Midtown Atlanta. Here are a few images I wanted to share. Thanks so much Liana. Inside the historical Rhodes Hall is a Huge window that was hand painted events related to the civil war. It's pretty interesting.

The band was rocking and so were the newly weds with their duet.

I was trying my hand at a new technique I learned to make an image jump, pop, or just come alive.

Lastly, before all the fun ended we went up to the roof top of Rhodes Hall and took some shots of the lovely couple, as you can tell it was getting dark real fast, but it was so breathtaking!

Kids Foto Shoot

I had a Foto Session just for kids this month, hosted by Serenity Hair Salon. I had the opportunity to photograph the nicest, adorable young girl, her name is Brittany. She is also my feature client from the Kids Foto Session at Serenity Hair Salon. Brittany is 12 yo. and a very fashionable 12 yo. I might add. She coordinated her own outfit (of course with her Mother's assistance) and added her favorite accessories. I had so much fun photographing Ms. Brittany.

Final Part of our BBC Workshop

You don't have to say it....I know I've been a slacker :( I apologize but it's been a bit crazy in my world. I'm finally posting the maternity session we had with Beth! She was such a trooper, with all of us saying..."ok look here" look here, ok can you look here...LOL. Beth Thanks so much for allowing us to photograph you. I'm sure Beth has had the baby by now. What Brand do you Like?

Well it's Friday night and I've been working on my branding all week....it's been a crazy hectic week! cut me some slack :) but that's one of the things I learned at Liana's BBC, that you have to develop your branding. Liana showed us how to do that by composing a "Brand Board" put the things that are you on your board. I started out with a picture of Sonya & Terrence, a lovely couple whose wedding I photographed last year. From their photo I began to build on the things associated with me, what I like and make me who I am. I went through different websites and magazines I frequent and this is what I came up with I did have alot on here but then it started getting out of control, so I cut back a bit. It's still a work in progress but tell me what comes to mind when you look at my "Branding Board", I'd be curious to know. Well that's it for tonight but, don't fret I haven't forgotten Beth's maternity session, it's coming soon....

Survivors of Liana's Photo Buziness Boot Camp aka BBC

I just finished attending Liana's BBC (Business Boot Camp) and it was overwhelming, intense, revealing, and Great all at the same time! I enjoyed myself emmensely and I have so much to do, I'm looking forward to the change. If you haven't attended or are thinking of going please go, You won't regret it. Liana Thanks so much girl, you're awesome!! Ladies, it was so nice to meet all of you and to get to know you! K.I.T.

Liana had some additional assistants beside Sara. Charlie & Gracie. This is Charlie below. He worked so hard making us feel comfortable, warm and loved. By the time BBC was over Charlie was pooped! Here he is barely waking up from one of his naps LOL....sweet Charlie! Unfortuately I didn't get many shots of Gracie, but she's in the first picture with the BBC Survivors ;)

A Charleston Wedding

Last week I had the opportunity to work with the Talented and Awesome Photographer Jill Higgins in Charleston, SC. The day couldn't been better, even if you asked for it. It was a perfect day for a wedding. The lovely couple was Nicole and Brian. Jill thanks so much for inviting me and I hope to work with you again. Here are a few of my pics.
